The Field Atlas is part of the GeoBox infrastructure and makes open geo and specialist data usable for practical applications in agriculture. The aim is to advance the open data strategies of the federal and state governments and to provide agricultural businesses with easy access to relevant information. The focus is on providing official data in a convenient form that is suitable for everyday use. To ensure that digital applications offer real added value and build trust, farmers' data sovereignty and data security are consistently taken into account. The Field Atlas thus forms the basis for user-friendly, data protection-compliant use of public data and promotes standardized interfaces for agricultural software in the long term.
