Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Thomas Steinmann, born on March 2, 1989 in Frechen-Hücheln, grew up in Pulheim near Cologne (Germany).

He studied Agricultural Sciences at the University of Bonn (Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität). He completed his Bachelor of Science in October 2010 and subsequently earned his Master of Science in Agricultural Sciences in October 2012  He then pursued doctoral studies in soil sciences (INRES), completing his PhD in Agricultural Sciences in August 2016.

Dr. Steinmann began his professional career in 2016 as Regional Manager for North Rhine-Westphalia at Nufarm Deutschland GmbH. In October 2017, he was promoted to Team Leader Sales North-West and later advanced to Key Account Manager North (2019–2021).

In February 2021, he joined AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG as Head of Digital Sales. Since February 2022, he has been responsible for NetFarming as well as product management for soil, biostimulants, and fertilizers. Since March 2024, he has also been serving as Head of Field Sales Advisory in Crop Production, with responsibility for product management in fertilizers, biostimulants, and soil.
